Smart deployables and ships require fuel to operate at full capacity. Fuel is necessary to activate certain ship modules, enable warp travel, and similarly, to power Network Nodes, so the Smart Assemblies at your base are fully operational.
Fuel quality varies by type. Some fuels may provide as little as 10% fuel quality, while more refined variants can offer up to 90%. Lower-quality fuel is often sufficient for travel and idle operations, making it a more economical choice. Higher-quality fuel, due to its greater production cost, is typically better reserved for high-intensity combat scenarios.
To view a fuel's quality and production cost, right-click the fuel item in-game, select "Show Info," and navigate to the "Attributes" and "Industry" tabs.
