What is a DxDiag Report?
The DxDiag report gathers key information about your computer, such as:
Graphics card and driver versions
Processor and memory details
Windows version
DirectX components and configurations
Any system errors related to graphics or audio
This information helps us pinpoint problems and speed up troubleshooting.

How to Create a DxDiag Report
Follow these easy steps to generate and save your DxDiag file:
- Open the Run Window
- Press Windows Key + R on your keyboard.
- This will bring up the Run dialog box.
- Launch the DxDiag Tool
- Copy and paste the following command into the Run box, then press Enter: dxdiag
- Let the Tool Gather Information
- The DirectX Diagnostic Tool will open and begin scanning your system.
- Wait until the progress bar in the bottom-left corner completes.
- Save the Report
- Once the scan is finished:
- Click Save All Information in the bottom-right corner.
- Choose a location on your computer where you’d like to save the file.
- The report will be saved as a .txt file.
- Attach the File to Your Support Ticket
- Once the scan is finished:
Locate the saved DxDiag file and upload it as an attachment to your ticket on our Help Center.
